Our Story

About Kasarachi Foundation

Championing hope, skills, and dignity across Ukwa East and West—and partner communities in Nigeria.

How It All Began

The Michael Enyinna Kasarachi Foundation (also known as the Kasarachi Foundation) is a Nigerian non-governmental organization focused on youth empowerment, digital skills training, women and widow support, and free medical outreaches. Led by Dr. Michael Enyinna Kasarachi, we work alongside local partners such as Progressive Abia Youths to create sustainable opportunities in Ukwa and beyond.

What began as grassroots outreach in Abia State has grown into coordinated programs for young people, widows, and vulnerable families. Dr. Kasarachi—an entrepreneur and philanthropist with deep ties to Ukwa—believes lasting change comes through skills, healthcare access, and dignified support, not one-off charity alone.

Today we run youth digital and vocational training, free medical camps in underserved communities, and targeted welfare for widows and marginalized children—primarily across Ukwa East and West, while welcoming partners who share our vision for a more equitable Nigeria.

Founder & President

"I grew up in a community where potential was abundant but opportunity was scarce. I watched brilliant young minds abandon their dreams because of poverty. I saw widows struggle without support. The Kasarachi Foundation is my commitment to change that narrative. We don't just give handouts — we equip people with the tools, skills, and confidence to build their own futures. Every life we touch is a step toward a more equitable Nigeria."

The Journey

Dr. Kasarachi is an entrepreneur and investment professional with decades of experience in trade, commerce, and community development. He has worked closely with networks such as the Tony Elumelu Foundation to champion economic growth, poverty reduction, and job creation for African entrepreneurs—while keeping grassroots outreach in Abia State at the heart of the foundation's work.

His vision: expand skills training, medical access, and welfare support across Ukwa and partner communities, so more young people and widows can build self-reliant futures.
